Bridge Mission:
To help our church become a place where people with special needs and their families are welcomed, supported, and engaged as full participants in the life of the church. To help people with special needs, known and unknown, to develop a relationship with Jesus.
Bridge Description:
Our team is made up of volunteers with a heart for individuals with special needs and their families. God has given us a place to start in our children’s ministry and volunteers equipped to build a Bridge for families that find church attendance difficult. We believe in building relationships and growing in service to each other as God brings people with special needs to Mercy Hill Church. Our volunteers work directly with families to develop and implement an engagement plan to facilitate participation with their peers.

These ministry leaders are the coordinators of the ministry at each church location. They are your first contact and will get you connected with a Liaison that is best suited to meet your needs.

Liaisons:
Every Liaison has personal or professional experience serving people with various special needs. They meet with individuals and families to determine the best way to support and engage them in the church body. Sometimes, that will include Buddies.
Buddies:
Buddies are adults and teenagers who have been specifically trained to provide support, one-on-one, to engage individuals with their peer groups.
