About

HANDS of MERCY

The mission of our Hands of Mercy ministries is to engage, equip, and send members of Mercy Hill Church into God’s redemptive and restorative work in our broken and hurting world.

We engage to help each member of Mercy Hill understand that they are personally called and expected to participate in God’s redemptive work among their family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, community and world.

We equip to train each member of Mercy Hill in the ministry so that they move beyond self-gratifying service that carries unintended consequences and creates dependency to the truly life-giving restoration and redemption of the Gospel.

We send to provide the opportunities and support necessary to see members of Mercy Hill live out God’s gifting and call on their life and ministry.

Global Missions

Global Missions

We are called to join God in his restoring and redemptive work to all people, in all places, at all times through the Gospel.

At Mercy Hill Church this takes shape in many forms. It includes supporting missionaries, partnering with church planting networks, providing mission trips for our members, and preparing and sending missionaries from within our church.

Find more info on all of the global missions opportunities we provide at Mercy Hill Church.

City on a Hill

City on a Hill

Join the Mercy Hill Community Service Team on the second Saturday of every month as they volunteer at the free health clinic at City on a Hill. More than 100 volunteers staff City on a Hill Health Clinic. These helping professionals are joined by many other volunteers from academic institutions, churches and other organizations who have a heart for the poor and a desire to make a difference. The volunteer team provides a wide range of vital services in a community where many people are indigent and uninsured, and the incidence of nearly every major disease is elevated.

The team meeets at Ruby G's Coffee Shop on 2043 W Wells St, Milwaukee, WI 53233 for prayer at 9AM before heading over to the clinic located at 2224 W. Kilbourn Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53223.

For more information on this outreach opportunity please contact Dan Burant.

Mercy Hill Church is blessed with a wide range of talented men and women. Many work in or are skilled in the trades. Our goal for this team is to bring together these talented members of our church to support individuals and families within our church and in our surrounding communities.

Milwaukee Arab Immigrants & Refugees

We partner with a Language Center on the southside of Milwaukee who provides services to Arab immigrant and refugee families. This provides us the opportunity to build lasting friendships through which we can extend the love of the Gospel to the these families through support and relationship.

Whole Families

The loneliness and pain that some families face can only truly be served through close, personal, Gospel-filled relationships. To serve these families, our Whole Families team partners with Safe Families and local foster care agencies to train and license Mercy Hill families to serve families in crisis. The team then looks to surround both the biological and safe/foster family with members of our church body who can provide tangible, emotional, spiritual, and social support.
